N-Boc protection of amino acids
Boc protection of amines is a classical procedure of organic chemistry to mask amine group
reactivity. The classical protocol, reacting the amino acid tyrosine in a basic solution by
NaOH at room temperature, followed by HCl neutralisation and liquid/liquid extraction, has
been fully reproduced in an automated way.
